What Does "Sale" or "Sharing" Mean?
Under California law, "sale" means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Heart & Bond Search may "sell" or "share" personal information in the following contexts:
- Advertising Partners: Sharing information with advertising networks for targeted advertising

Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before processing CCPA requests:

- Additional Verification: For sensitive requests, we may ask for additional identifying information
- Timeline: We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (extendable to 90 days for complex requests)

- Acknowledgment: Within 10 business days
- Opt-Out Requests: Processed within 15 business days
- Know/Delete Requests: Within 45 days (may extend to 90 days)
- Correction Requests: Within 45 days
What Happens When You Opt-Out
When you opt-out of sale or sharing:
- We will stop selling or sharing your personal information to third parties
- We will update our records to reflect your opt-out status
- You may see less personalized advertising
- Website functionality will not be significantly affected
- Your opt-out preference will be remembered for future visits
Exceptions and Limitations
Some activities are not considered "sales" or "sharing" under CCPA:

- Disclosures required by law or legal process

Non-Discrimination
